Terms of Use

These terms set the conditions for using Temecula Residents Directory. Accessing or using the reference means you accept them; if you disagree, do not use the pages.

1. The Nature of This Reference

Temecula Residents Directory is privately operated. It describes and links to public rolls, record indexes, and historical collections related to Temecula, California. It does not host government records and is not affiliated with Riverside County ACR, the City of Temecula, Riverside Superior Court, a library, or another custodian.

2. Permitted and Prohibited Use

Use the reference only for lawful purposes. You may not use these pages or anything reached through them to:

  • Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
  • Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
  • Commit identity theft or fraud
  • Make FCRA-regulated decisions (credit, employment, tenant, insurance)
  • Scrape, copy, or republish the reference content at scale
  • Interfere with page operation or security

3. No Consumer Reporting Agency Status

This reference is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Neither its text nor a result from a linked search tool is a consumer report. None of that material may be used to judge eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-covered purpose.

4. External Portals and Services

Government portals and third-party services, including sponsored search tools, set their own terms and policies. Temecula Residents Directory is not responsible for their content, uptime, prices, or data practices.

5. No Warranties

The reference is supplied "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. No promise is made that a page or linked portal is accurate, complete, current, available, or certain to return a correct result.

6. Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of these pages or a linked resource, including a decision based on a record found through them.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the operators harmless from a claim or demand, including reasonable attorney fees, that results from your misuse of the reference or breach of these terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The original writing, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Links to pages and short attributed quotations are welcome. Republished full pages and systematic copying are not permitted.

9. Changes to the Terms

A revised version may be posted here at any time. Continued use after the revision means you accept the updated terms.

10. Ending or Restricting Access

Access may be blocked or limited for a user who violates these terms or abuses the reference, at the operators' discretion and without advance notice.

11. Governing Law

California law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The public-record references concern the California Public Records Act, Government Code §§7920.000 et seq., including the rules that apply to identifiable existing records and lawful exemptions.

12. Severability

If a court finds one part unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
